Inventition is a fun board game for kids and adults. At the beginning, the player chooses an inventor character to play as. Each of the characters is characterized by an individual set of abilities such as intelligence, skill or imagination – which are necessary prerequisites for exploring new discoveries of varying difficulty. It is the exploration of inventions that is the most important element of the game, as each round the inventions earn the player financial gain and prestige points after exploration. The goal is to earn as many prestige points as possible with your invention. However, you need to remain vigilant when exploring, other players may try to surpass you with innovative patents or even steal your ideas! The game ends with a round when the first player has explored at least 8 different inventions.

Who is the game intended for?
Inventition is designed for all curious minds, adventurers, and fans of intelligent entertainment aged 10 to 199 who enjoy immersing themselves in the fascinating world of inventors and inventions. The game will guide you through the brilliant ideas of the past that shaped today’s world in a playful way that is both entertaining and educational!
Can more than four players play the game?
Yes, five or six players can also play the game, but you should expect the game time to exceed 60 minutes. However, the current version does not support more than six players.
Can children younger than 10 play the game?
More skilled children under the age of 10 can handle the game, but this is not always the case. For a full experience, it is important that they know how to read with understanding, add, and subtract.
Can a player who does not speak Slovak play the Slovak version of the game?
We also tested the game with players who did not speak Slovak. Thanks to the symbols and icons, they were able to find their way around, but explaining the rules and translating the educational content on the cards was more complicated.
What new things will we learn from the game?
In the game Inventition, you will master strategic thinking, planning, and decision-making in a competitive environment. You will learn to manage resources effectively, analyze risks, and adapt to unexpected situations. The game will also take you through historical innovations, from Edison’s light bulb to Tesla’s induction coil, and help you understand their significance in the context of business, science, and technological progress. In addition, you will develop the ability to collaborate, negotiate, seek creative solutions, and balance risks and opportunities.
